BTI & PEO Leadership’s 2024 Black Senior Leaders Scholarship
Black Talent Initiative (BTI) and PEO Leadership are proud to announce the launch of the second year of their groundbreaking scholarship program aimed at empowering Black senior leaders. Building on the success of the inaugural year, the program continues its mission to support the next generation of Black leaders who are shaping the future of business.
In collaboration with PEO Leadership, North America's premier executive network and advisory community, BTI is excited to offer two scholarships worth $12,500 each to exceptional Black senior leaders seeking to advance their careers and significantly impact their organizations and communities.
Program Components:
Proprietary Strategic Tools: Metrics to determine path and if goals are being achieved
Peer Advisory Group: Confidential, high disclosure, non-competitive advisory board consisting of up to 10 leaders who meet 5 times per year for 3.5–4 hours
One-on-One Coaching: Meet with Executive Advisor 5 sessions per year
PEO Leadership Annual Conference: Recognized by members as one of the top Leadership Conferences in Canada; 2 day all inclusive event
Access to PEO Leadership Community: We make the right introductions to accelerate business success and personal development
Leadership Development Events: Eye Of The Executive events and The Way Forward webcasts provide a platform for learning about future trends, leadership lessons from prominent individuals, as well as products and services that made a positive change within an organization
Access to World Class Health & Wellness: Access to preferred pricing through our Executive Health Program with Cleveland Clinic and Medcan (Toronto locations)
PEO Mini Retreat ($): Annual team retreat (1.5 Days) to deepen their relationships as well as understanding of their businesses, personal strengths and weaknesses
2024 Eligibility Criteria for BTI & PEO Leadership Scholarship:
High potential leaders on a succession path
Are passionate about personal, professional growth and development
Are in a leadership role, leading a team with multiple direct reports
Excited to participate and learn in a Peer Advisory Group
Not afraid to be vulnerable and share
Committed to maximizing attendance at all PEO meetings, retreats and conferences
The submission deadline is May 17, 2024 at 11:59 PM, and the scholarships will be awarded by June 7, 2024.

SheaMoisture 2024 Dream Fund Grant
SheaMoisture Canada continues its steadfast commitment to empowering Black communities throughout Canada. In partnership with The Diversity Agency, the Dream Fund Grant is offering support to Black female-owned businesses, providing them with essential financial resources, networking opportunities, and entrepreneurial education necessary for success.
Recipients of the Dream Fund will also receive personalized Business Coach support through The Diversity Agency.
To be eligible for one of five $10,000 grants, applicants are invited to create a short video highlighting their business's unique aspects and demonstrating how they are positioned to contribute to the growth of Black Communities.
The Deadline to enter is May 31st, 2024.

The BNI Career Fair aims to connect employers with post-secondary students and professionals from the Black community. We will provide corporate and non-profit organizations a chance to connect with diverse talent and offer a plethora of opportunities – job opportunities, career/work advancements, mentorships, internships, and networking to Black post-secondary students and professionals.
