Welcoming BTI’s New Volunteer Manager
Some exciting news to share with you from team BTI - we have a new teammate who started with us last week! Please join us in welcoming Shaianna Coleman, our new Manager, Volunteer Relations, who will be responsible for helping the BTI recruit and engage our volunteer community.
Shaianna Coleman (she/her/hers) completed her BSW at the University of Windsor. Guided by antiracist, equity-minded, and intersectional pedagogy, her work focuses on the inclusion, empowerment, and overall liberation of Black and racialized communities along all intersectional lines. She has experience in DEI research and strategy, community organizing, and facilitation — most notably through her volunteer work in the Windsor-Essex community and as President of the Caribbean African Organization of Students.
Feel free to connect with Shaianna or send her a warm welcome at shaianna.coleman@blacktalentinitiative.network.
